December 31, 2012 - glen @ 16:40 PST
We still have two trails that are closed as stated in the previous post. Sleds have ridden down these closed trails and have run down the landowners corn,NOT GOOD, PLEASE STAY OFF THESE TRAILS

All the trails that are open have been groomed but there are a lot of water holes. Hopefully with cold weather on the way these will freeze up. The bad news is we had very high winds yesterday and a lot of the trails have blown shut and now we have bare spots. We will continue to work on the trails this week and try to make them better and fix our problems and maybe get some more trails opened up.

Don’t forget we have a pancake breakfast this Sunday at the Canajoharie Moose Club, and it looks like the trails will be open to ride to it for the first time in two years, so bring your family and come join us for some good food.

12-28-12 Trail Conditions - glen @ 17:38 PST
We are working on opening the trails, the going is slow. We had groomers out Thursday, and today. The north side of the river in the town of Palatine has all been groomed at least once. The groomer has been on the bike path from Canajoharie west to the county line and then out to Brookmans Corners and and back east to groomer barn. We will work on some more trails tomorrow. Remember we are only volunteers and we have jobs and lives to. We hope to go east and groom the rest of the bike path to Randall tomorrow.

We have two trails that will be closed for a while because there are still crops on them, they are C7D from Fort Plain west through the Museum to the Junction of S78B, and C7H from Ames west to Clinton Rd. these trails will open as soon as the Landowners can get the crops off. PLEASE DON NOT RIDE THESES TRAILS, we may loose these tails if we piss off the Landowners by riding down their crops. When you see that the groomer has been through then the trail is open.

There are some TRAIL CHANGES this year due to lost trails and having to reroute, please stay on the trails that are marked. Remember always ride to the right side of the trail.
