Trail Conditions - bskinner @ 07:53 PST
Trails are very thin and very icy. I put a 100 miles on our trails yesterday and it was mostly good riding. By 3pm the snow had softened up a lot and water holes were starting to open up. Ride with EXTREME CAUTION trails are ruff in spots, very icy, and water holes. There may be more snow coming Sunday night(let's hope) which would be a big help. RIDE SAFE OUT THERE.

Trail Conditions - bskinner @ 18:42 PST
We have been out with groomers the last 2 days trying to do something with the small amount of snow we got. Trails are very thin in spots. There are some very icy spots along with some very ruff trails due to ruff fields under the snow. Please ride with EXTREME CAUTION. There is no gas in the West end of the Village of Canajoharie, you must go to Fort Plain for gas coming from the west. If you decide to ride into the Village of Canajoharie you will be ticketed. READ THE SIGNS STAY ON THE TRAILS AND RIDE TO THE RIGHT OF THE TRAIL. Looks like warm weather coming again with maybe some rain I will post Trail Closings here.

Trails are OPEN - bskinner @ 09:20 PST
Once again TRAILS ARE OPEN with minimal snow cover and very icy conditions. we are going out with the groomers right now to see if we can do anything with this snow. Be advised there may be water holes, icy spots and ice with no water under it that may break when it is ridden on, use extreme caution when riding our trails. I'm sure that the trails will be ruff due to little snow cover. Remember RIDE TO THE RIGHT OF THE TRAIL AND RIDE SAFELY.

Trail Conditions - bskinner @ 16:24 PST
The Sun and warm weather took a toll on the trails today, hopefully tonight's rain won't be bad and force us to Close our Trails. Please ride with extreme care as not to ruin the base we have established by rutting up the trails. I will post it here if and when we close the Trails.

Trail Conditions - bskinner @ 07:16 PST
Thanks to all that came to our Breakfast yesterday and supported our Club. As for trails they held up well over the weekend with all the traffic. This weeks weather is not going to help our trails at all. High temps and Sun are going to take a toll. If you do ride our trails this week be careful with the starts and stops. Be aware that water holes will probably open up this week with a lot of slush and ice appearing, Please be careful out there. RIDE SAFE AND TO THE RIGHT OF THE TRAIL.

Trail Conditions - bskinner @ 09:46 PST
Trails are starting to get there. We've been out with the groomers every day since the storm. There are some very thin spots to some really good trails. Lots of ice in the corners and some hills are icy as well. The best trails we have are on the North side of the Mohawk River in the Town of Palatine and up towards the South ends of our Trails, due to higher elevation and more snow. We plan on going out Tonight to touch up some trails for our Pancake Breakfast tomorrow at the Canajoharie Moose Club 7am until 12 noon. You can ride your sleds right to the Moose Club along RTE 5s, so come on down and enjoy. RIDE SAFE AND TO THE RIGHT OF THE TRAIL

Trail Conditions - bskinner @ 09:03 PST
Trails are in decent shape some very thin spots due to the wind blowing the snow away. All trails have been groomed at least once, some more than that. There are some rough spots in the trail due to ruts from tractors in from last fall wet weather during harvest time under the snow. We plan out going out as much as needed with the groomers to make great trails for you. There may be a few drifts here and there in the trails, we are working on that. RIDE SAFE OUT THERE AND TO THE RIGHT OF THE TRAIL.
