Trail Conditions
- bskinner @ 07:22 PST
FPUI Trail conditions: Mother nature has not been nice to our Trails. We had groomers out Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday to get our Trails back in shape from the weekend. We had new snow on Monday, which helped, but now with the warm weather there are water holes forming, little water ways opening up. Ice in the corners, and when the sun is out and high in the sky like it is now really takes a toll on the snow. We may not be able to groom unless the weather pattern changes and we may have to close trails soon. I will update with any changes when they happen. Ride Right and between the signs.

Thanks to the Volunteers that helped with the Roast and especially to the Volunteers that maintain our Trails. We've been out with the the groomers yesterday and there are three out right now trying to finish getting the trails back in shape. There are some thin spots, icy corners, and water holes out there so Ride with Caution. I will update you when I can. Ride Safe, and to the Right side of the Trail

I will update when I can. RIDE TO THE RIGHT SIDE OF THE TRAIL, BETWEEN THE STAKES, AND STAY SAFE OUT THERE.

Well we didn't get the snow that was forecast, but we did get a little snow and FREEZING RAIN. We will go out with groomers when we think it is best to do so. If we go out right now we could possibly ruin the trails due to the higher temperatures. We will be out when we can. I will update when we go out. Trails are a little choppy and Icy in the corners. Be CAREFUL OUT THERE AND RIDE ON THE RIGHT SIDE OF THE TRAILS.

FPUI TRAILS are in the best shape ever!!! We've been out with the groomers all week they are perfect for the weekend, all TRAILS have been groomed and are as flat as can be. You'd be hard pressed to find any trails better in New York State. For those riders that can't stay on the trails stay home. Ride between the stakes people and ride to the RIGHT side of the trails. Be safe out there

FPUI Trail conditions, You MUST STAY on the TRAIL C7P the Bike Path in Fort Plain if riders keep cutting across Private Property we are going to loose the trail. There is no riding the sidewalk on the east side of RTE 80 or in front of Fisher Auto Store. Read the signs people, all your doing is making the rest of us look bad.the Sheriff's office and the Fort Plain police department are going to keep watching for any riders not staying on the TRAIL in the Village and will give out tickets for Trespassing. The landowner is putting up Trail camera's to try and catch the stupid people that can't stay on the Trail.

Trail conditions, well we got almost a foot of new snow which is great news for Trails. We will be out with the groomers as soon as the volunteers can get them out and trails somewhat groomed, remember we are volunteers and have other obligations too attend to. We should be out by tomorrow morning. If the wind gets bad we most likely will not groom until it stops or subsides some. If you do go out a ride our trails don't go alone and use caution, stay on the marked trail there are no hazards between the signs. I will update you on trail conditions when I can
