FPUI volunteers went out and tried to groom - Ed @ 13:37 PST
FPUI volunteers went out and tried to groom last night to no avail there is two foot of snow with the bottom six or eight inches full of water and slushy. The drag on the groomer freezes up with this slush and the snow covers up the deep water holes we had a groomer almost get stuck in three feet of water slush and mud. We won’t be able to groom for a few days more if the weather holds but it looks like warm temps and rain on the way.

If you must ride out trails please do not ride alone there was already a fire call to help a stranded sledder in the Town of Charleston, we don’t need any more of that.

There are trees down ,slush, water, ice, snow slides(bike path), among other hazards out there so please be careful out there and never ride alone.

FPUI trails are in poor condition due to high snow fall - Ed @ 18:18 PST
FPUI trails are in poor condition due to high snow fall, a lot of water, trees down, and there should be minimal riding due to unsafe conditions. I will let you know when the groomers have gone out and the trails are clear once again, we will have to wait, for a lot of water to go recede

Please do no ride our trails until you have seen our groomers out, and then as well proceed with caution, there will be a lot of holes, ice and possible tree limbs down. If you must ride please ride with caution and safety.

Thanks to all who made all our pancake breakfasts a success till the next time, ride safely

FPUI trails were groomed this week - Ed @ 09:41 PST
FPUI trails were groomed this week they tin and very icy. There are bare spots here and there with the worst on the southern exposure sides. We have a PANCAKE BREAKFAST this Sunday at the CANAJOHARIE MOOSE club from 7am to 12pm. this is our last one so please come and support our club.

Again it is very ICY out there so be extra careful. The weathermen say warm temps and rain coming so this may be the last weekend to ride our trails so ride to the right and ride safe.

Any more updates will be right here.
