Trail conditions - bskinner @ 09:53 PST
Trails are in poor to fair condition, we rode yesterday and they were good in the morning but in the afternoon they became very slushy and water logged. There are some hazards out there now like running water, standing water, Bare spots(mostly on south facing slopes) and snow slides on the Bike Path(C7P) so be very careful out there. We are going to try and keep the trails open through the weekend due to Ames Firehouse and Ehpratha Rod & Gun having Pancake breakfasts this weekend but it looks like rain in the forecast, we will see what happens. We took two groomers out early this morning to get them to our storage areas and they encountered some extreme water conditions. So beware of the water. BE SAFE OUT THERE and use your heads, if you don't know don't go.

Trails - bskinner @ 08:39 PST
One groomer out last night he groomed from Clinton Rd. east to C7P, C7P west to Ft. Plain C7D, C7D south to C7H , Then east on C7H to Clinton Rd. He said trails were not too bad and he cut off the moguls the best he could. We will keep at it but it will be slow because weather and temps don't look good for making and fixing trails. Be safe out there

Trail conditions - bskinner @ 17:07 PST
Trails were beat up in the corners and narrow parts of the trails. But are still in fair to good condition. North side of the river groomer went out today and groomed C7D today till it got too warm. We will be out the next few days with groomers to fix the trails, but we will be out after dark when the temps cool down Long range forecast does not look good. There are a few spots Landowners are pulling logs out cause they are out of firewood so be careful out there, one spot is on the McDonalds trail S75A, C7D south of the museum, and C7H between Marshville Rd. and Tanners Rd. Stay safe.

Trail conditions - bskinner @ 02:58 PST
It is Three am Saturday morning and just finished up grooming. All of FPUI trails have been groomed in the last 48 hrs and they are perfect. We do have two icy/slushy spots one on C7P on Canyon Rd. in Sprakers at the bottom near where it meets up with the Bike Path again, the other is just east of Blaine Rd, on C7H so please be careful of these spots. May be too warm to groom the next few days, will let you know when we go out again. STAY ON TRAILS AND RIDE TO THE RIGHT OF THE TRAIL for your safety and others.

Trail conditions - bskinner @ 17:57 PST
We had two groomers out today, North side of the river was done and we groomed the majority of C7D from FT. Plain south to county line with the exception of the section between Wiles park and Leneker Rd. C7H from Brookmans Corners Rd. to Clinton Rd. We also went on a few other trails just to open up road crossings and knock down big drifts, so you may encounter places where the groomer turned around and did not finish the trail. We had a limited time and wanted to hit the worst spots. As it was we were out for 11 hours with the groomers. Be careful out there, I will let you know when we do more grooming, for the most part trails are in great shape.

Pancake Breakfast - bskinner @ 14:17 PST
Just wanted to say thanks to all that came to our Pancake Breakfast this past weekend, it was a great success with over 300 people served. Thanks again for showing your support.

Trail conditions - bskinner @ 14:14 PST
Trails are getting wind blown today, we had about 4 or 5 inches of new snow last night and most of that has blown away in to hedge rows and the road. We won't go out and groom again until the wind stops it is just a waste of fuel and time. I will let you know when we go out. Be safe out there rough conditions with the wind and drifts.
