Trails Open - bskinner @ 07:43 PST
Trails are still open for now but looks like we will be closing them by mid week. Warm temps and the Sun is really taking a toll on the 36" snow storm we had last week. We will not be going out with the groomers any more this year. The only good thing about year was it better than last year. That's all for now.

Trails Open - bskinner @ 05:27 PST
Well good news is all the trails have been opened up except a 5 mile section of S73 we couldn't get to. They are not great some have huge amounts of snow others have very little, we even have one trail, S73 in Sprout Brook there no snow for half a mile. The trails are definitely not perfect. We will work them some as soon as break downs are fixed and volunteers can get out there. Thanks to all the Volunteers that helped to get our trails open. Don't forget Ames Fire House and Ephrath Rod and Gun have a Pancake Breakfasts TODAY. BE SAFE OUT THERE

Trails Open - bskinner @ 00:38 PST
We have been out with all the groomers trying to get all of our trails opened up. Despite break downs and getting stuck, and with a lot of VOULUNTEERS we only have a few trails left we hope to get open today. C7H to CampJoharie, Trail S74 through Buel and S73 through Sprout Brook, if all goes well. They may not be perfect but at least we can ride with out getting stuck with sleds. Be aware there are signs missing so ride with caution BE SAFE OUT THERE AND RIDE WITH CAUTION

Trails Open - bskinner @ 17:03 PST
We went out with some groomers yesterday and today, trying to get trails pack down. Wind blew all day had to quit grooming because too dangerous crossing roads with a 40 foot groomer when no one can see you. We will go back out tomorrow and do some more. If you do ride keep in mind there may be some signs that have blown down, we need to get trails groomed so we can get to where the signs need to go back up. I will update when I can. BE SAFE OUT THERE

Trails Open - bskinner @ 20:53 PST
FPUI trails are now OPEN again. With 2 foot plus snow it is going to be some time before all the trails get groomed. The Volunteers that do the work and Groom have Family and obligations that should come first. I assure you we will be out grooming just as soon as the volunteers can. Be careful out there, there may be trees down and signs missing with the recent warm temps and high winds we have had the last few weeks some may have blown down since we have been out last. There is a lot of snow out there and more on the way, and high winds may make matters worse. I will update when I can, BE SAFE OUT THERE AND RIDE TO THE RIGHT OF TRAIL.
